Professor Evelise Maria Nazari, Ph.D.

Professor Evelise holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, a master’s degree in Aquaculture from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and a Ph.D. in Morphological Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. She is a professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and has experience in morphology, with emphasis on Embryology and Reproduction. Permanent member of the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program and the Professional Master’s Degree in Biology Teaching (PROFBIO) at UFSC. Currently she is the President of the Laboratório Multiusuário de Estudos em Biologia (LAMEB) of the Biological Sciences Center/UFSC.

Laís Andrade

Committee President

Laís has a bachelor degree in Biotechnology from the Universidade Federal de Pelotas and is currently getting her master’s degree in the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. She has experience in cell biology and regenerative medicine and is developing her thesis project researching about regenerative strategies for the central nervous system in the Laboratório de Células-Tronco e Regeneração Tecidual under the supervision of Professor Andréa Trentin, Ph.D.

Alessandra Barauna

Alessandra has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Currently she is a master’s student in the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program. She has experience in Cell and Molecular Biology, with emphasis in Neural Crest Cells and is developing her thesis project researching about Neural Crest Cells differentiation and migration at Laboratório de Células-Tronco e Regeneração Tecidual, under supervision of Professor Ricardo C. Garcez, Ph.D.

Carla Eliana Davico, MSc.

Carla has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL, Argentina). She arrived in UFSC in 2015 to get her master’s degree in the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program, where she is currently developing her Ph.D. Her research in the Laboratório de Reprodução e Desenvolvimento Animal (LRDA), under supervision of Professor Yara Müller, Ph.D., is focused on the exposure of zebrafish, Danio rerio, to a glyphosate-based herbicide.

Fabiane Maria Cabral Nascimento

Fabiane has a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Universidade Federal do Pará and is currently a master’s student at the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. She has experience in cellular biology, molecular biology and regenerative medicine and is developing her thesis project evaluating the interaction between different polymers and mesenchymal stem cells for the production of  a bone bioimplant in the Laboratório de Células-Tronco e Bioengenharia under the supervision of Professor Márcio Alvarez-Silva, Ph.D.

Ísis Shandra Santos

Ísis is an undergraduate student in Biological Sciences at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and is responsible for the creation and development of the event’s logo and visual identity.

Manuela Nunes Drehmer

Undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2017), currently a master’s student in the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program.  She has experience in Immunology and Genetic, with emphasis in Molecular Biology, working mainly in the evaluate of association between Genetic Polymorphisms with Autoimmune Diseases and its Clinical Manifestations, in the Laboratório de Polimorfismos Genéticos, under the supervision of Professor Ilíada Rainha de Souza, Ph.D.

Priscilla Barros Delben, MSc.

Priscilla is a Biologist, with a master’s degree in the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where she is developing her Ph.D. She has experience in cell biology and regenerative medicine and is developing her thesis project researching about human stem cells aging in the Laboratório de Células-Tronco e Regeneração Tecidual under the supervision of Professor Andréa Trentin, Ph.D.

Talita Ribeiro Gagliardi

Talita has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and is currently a master’s student in the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. She works at the Laboratório de Imunologia Aplicada a Aquicultura (LIAA), under the supervision of Professor Luciane Maria Perazzolo, Ph.D., linked to the Invertebrate Immunology research group: implications for disease resistance in Aquaculture and Marine Biotechnology.

Tiago Chaves, MSc.

Biologist, with a master’s degree in Cell & Developmental Biology at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where he is developing his Ph.D. Currently developing research with clinical interpretation of data of Chromosomal microarray (CMA), with bias the neurodevelopment disorders, such as intellectual disability and autism, in the Laboratório de Neurogenética do Desenvolvimento at UFSC, under supervision of Professor Yara Costa Netto Muniz, Ph.D. and coordination of Professor Angelica Francesca Maris, Ph.D.
