About Karyo 2019
The idea of the I Karyokinesis Symposium came up with the purpose to create an opportunity of scientific discussion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cell & Developmental Biology Graduate Program of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Inspired by the capacity of cells to divide and multiply simultaneously, the premise of the event is to enable researchers to share and multiply knowledge on cell, molecular and developmental biology. The event was idealized by the student representatives of the Graduate Program under the guidance of Professor Evelise Maria Nazari, Ph.D. and will consist of lectures taught by the Program faculty and guest speakers with expertise in the addressed fields, besides presentations from graduate students about the research they’ve been developing at our University.
